Privacy Policy
Tuesday Guild Player Portal — portal.tuesdayguildgames.com Effective: June 18, 2026
What we collect
- Email — for your account, login, and contacting you.
- Password — stored only as a secure hash. We never see your real password.
- Username and display name — these are public on the Portal and leaderboards.
- Session data — a cookie/token that keeps you logged in.
- Scores — shown publicly next to your username.
- Beta status — whether you're a beta tester.
- Basic logs — timestamps, IP addresses, and errors, used to run and secure the Portal.
Please don't put anything private in your username or display name.
How we use it
To run your account, keep you logged in, control who sees what, show leaderboards, contact you about the service, stop abuse and fraud, and follow the law.
What's public vs. private
Public: username, display name, scores. Private: email and password.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with:
- The hosting and database providers that help us run the Portal.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to keep people safe.
- A buyer, if the company is ever sold (we'd tell you).
Cookies
We use one session cookie/token just to keep you logged in. It's essential.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is active. After you delete it (or we close it), we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something. Public scores may be anonymized instead of removed.
How we protect it
We hash passwords, use session logins, restrict access, and encrypt data in transit (HTTPS). No system is 100% secure. Email us at privacy@tuesdayguildgames.com if you think your account is compromised.
Your rights
You can view, fix, delete, or export your data — through your settings or by emailing privacy@tuesdayguildgames.com. EU/UK users can complain to their data authority. California users can request to know, delete, or correct their data (we don't sell it). We won't penalize you for exercising these rights.
Kids
The Portal isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. Email us if you think a child has signed up.
Where it's processed
We operate from the United States, so your data is processed there.
Changes
We may update this policy and will flag big changes through the Portal or email.
